I lost my 19 year old daughter in the state of Illionois in Sept.2004 by a man that she befriended she only knew him for a few months. People knew that he was already a convicted killer.He murdered 20 years prior to my daughter and he only served 13 years out of a 20 year prison sentence.My daughter had only been in Illionois for 9 monyhs she left for their when her father went back up there(we are divorced) Down here in Ohio I could protecet my daughter but I could not get to Illionois.Her father tried to molest her a few months after he took her there she got the worse end out of it.Jail time because she stabbed him in the arm he's lucky he only got 7stitches in the shouldermy daughter defends herself and she is the one who ended up in jail and the three years probation. The man that took my daughters life did not get away with it. thank God.
The man got life in prison with no chance of parol. I am glad that my daughter told people that she made friends with that she was scared that he would hurt her. Even other people seen how he was possive and jealousof my daughterThe man was 46 years old. I wish that I could write to the man who took her life and just ask him why just becaust of an argument he was 46 years old he could have just walked away and calmed down with out killing my baby. Said that he did not want to cause her family any pain or anguish.What the heck does he think that he is causing me and her brother and her daughter she was only 6 years old at the time of her mothers death She will not find out about Amy for another7 years and God do I hate to have to be the one to tell her. Mary has not seen her mother since she was 5 years old I will aleays hold alot of people responsible for my daughters death. Two of them are her father for taking her up there, One is her male cousin that lives there still. He knows what happened all of it what it led up to.My daughter was murdered at a party at his place.He could not step in and protect her He knew they were arguing he could have stepped in or at least called the police on the guy he knew that the guy was on supervisedparol. I just want to know why he did not help My daughter.
